Here’s your weekend soccer round-up from the MTN 8 and English Premier League

@Arsenal FC

The English Premier League kicked off on Friday and over the weekend. All the teams took to the field to battle it out for 3 points and here’s how things panned out:

Man United vs West Ham (4-0)

New Manchester United No:9 Romelo Lukaku converted two goals on his first competitive match in the premier league, Anthony Martial scored the 3rd goal and Paul Pogba added the fourth. Man Utd won by 4-0 against West Ham and are top of the league.

Newcastle vs Tottenham (0-2)

Last season’s runners-up Tottenham Hotspur claimed 3 points in their opening match against hosts Newcastle United. Playing with only 10 men, it was always gonna be a tough one for Newcastle.
