Popi Qwabe (24) was found dead on Friday (May 12) and Bongeka Phungula (28) discovered the next day (May 13).

Bongeka Phungula (28).

Phungula’s daughter is finding it difficult to comprehend the reality that her mother has passed. According to the Sowetan, mother and daughter (Minenhle) spent some time chatting on WhatsApp.

The daughter remains adamant that her mom will soon come back home to her.

Still on the subject of murders in Soweto, another female body, identified as Lerato Moloi (27) was found half naked and she is suspected to have been raped before her brutal murder.

Through hard work and determination, Gauteng police announced the apprehension of three men thought to be behind these murders.
