He said, “The workshop aims to highlight the aspects of education in the gaming industry, and the word ‘gamification’ was coined for it.

“This will expose the opportunities in the gaming industry. People can be professionals in this industry and earn a salary while representing South Africa in gaming competitions across the globe.”

One of the coaches of explained that their aim was to educate and to introduce the programme to schools to share insights on how more could be done in the gaming industry as well as the skills which could be acquired through participation.

Gosa said, “Being registered with MSSA is a big achievement for us and we look back at our challenges and trials and we smile proudly.”
