15 arrested for possession of Dagga

A 46-year-old man dies after drug overdose.

To show their commitment towards curbing the spread of crime in the township, Kliptown police arrested 15 people for possession of dagga over the weekend.

“The number of people arrested for possession of dagga is alarming. We urge residents to work with the police so that we curb the spread of possession of drugs in our community,” said Kliptown police spokesperson, constable, Thuli Ngwenya.

Ngwenya said that if nothing is done drugs will continue to affect our community negatively.
